TESTING OF PACKAGING MATERIALS AND PACKAGES

To avail of testing facilities, clients may please note the following procedures being followed strictly to provide services :

Samples
(Clearly 'marked' and 'labelled' ) may be submitted on working days along with written requests (Customer Service Request Form) indicating list of tests and standards to be followed. We will be too happy to undertake other specialized / unique tests not covered in the list at a fee depending on the availability of equipment and the nature or extent of work involved.

Test samples are retained upto 4 weeks only from the date of testing

Charges
Payable in advance in cash or by DD/local cheque in favour of "Indian Institute of Packaging."

Members will be given preference in services. Minimum testing charge : Rs.330/- per sample for one time testing.

Service tax of 8% or as applicable will be added.

Test Report is based on sample(s) submitted, assuming it is representative of the lot / bulk.

Samples are normally conditioned at 27+-2 deg C and 65 +- 2% RH or as stipulated in the relevant standard or as requested by the client.

Reports are issued in duplicate.

Additional copies may be obtained on request @ Rs.200/- upto 5 pages, @ Rs.350/- upto 10 pages and @ Rs.500/- above 10 pages. Charges for forwarding report by fax/courier/speed post will be extra.
