FUTURE EXPANSION PROGRAMME

•  A exclusive laboratory for the testing of IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) including FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container)-cum training block is under construction. This laboratory will be well equipped for the testing of all kinds of IBC for the carriage of dangerous goods as well as non dangerous goods for exports.

•  A hot air woven has already been procured and installed for the heat treatment of wooden pallets, wooden crates, wooden boxes and containers. The Institute has taken the action for obtaining the authorization from Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India for issuing the test report and marking to the wooden packages as per International Phytosanitary Measures ISPM -15.
